Why Old World Pizza Truck?
We have been in the catering business for over 30 years and our love of food and people will out shine any one else. There will be a family member at every event, whether making pizza or serving. Because of the highly unusual pizza's that are served along with the traditinal ones, we serve and explain every single pizza. We cut all are slices small so your guests get to try all of our many interesting varieties. We will serve anywhere from 40 to 70 different varieties during the course of a party depending on the size of your event. The ingredients we use are always fresh and never frozen or canned. We sautee all veggies with imported extra virgin oil and always use local produce before anything else.
Can you cater for less than 50 people?
We can and we do often, however the price remains the same as it is for 50 people.
What if it rains?
No one likes to work or have a party in the rain, but in nearly all cases the show goes on. However, we do suggest renting a tent or a backup plan such as a garage or in the house.
What type of parties can we cater for?
To name a few: Weddings & rehearsal dinners, engagement parties, birthday parties, bachelor parties, bar/batmitzvahs graduations, anniversaries, corporate events, holiday parties, outside cul de sac parties, neighborhood (block) parties, condo community parties.
Corporate affairs, including hospital parties, car dealer sales promotions, college and university parties and fund raisers, church functions and whatever other parties that you decide upon.
How far, do we drive?
Our prices are based on a 15 mile radius from Coral Springs , Fl or New Haven, Ct area however, there is an additional charge of;
$4.00 per mile round trip. Employees have to drive further and the extra consumption of gas/ fuel.
Where do we park and cook?
We park in your driveway, or in the street in front of your driveway. In your backyard, if very dry, at your favorite park, cul de sac's, corporate parking areas and club house areas of condominiums.
Between the antique truck, the sound system, the wood fired pizza oven, the pizza maker and staff your guests will not be bored and will not care where the party is, " We Guarantee a Great Time."
What else can we cook or serve?
The pizza party, with our wonderful house salad, unlimited pizza for your guest count, gelato, espresso, American coffee and cappuccino your guests will happy and satisfied.. However, being chefs, we have unlimited capabilities as far as additional food.
What music do you have?
We are known for our music and whatever the occasion is we will have people dancing.
We have an Ipod with oldies, disco, country, pop, Sinatra, opera, and you may also give us your ipod to plug in for your own music.
We are not a DJ service taking requests, it is more of a compliment to your party.
